The Shoot
We shot on location in Cumbria in late August 2020. The shoot was challenging due to key locations being inaccessible to vehicles and the industry COVID-19 measures we were required to follow. We were very lucky with the weather, at times it appeared to be reading the shoot schedule and enjoyed a week of camaraderie, boredom and exhilaration (when things came together) - the usual strange journey of filming.

Louis Cunningham - Ethan

Lionel Playford - Isaac's Son / Art Dep.
Lionel is a landscape painter living and working in the North Pennines. He first started painting landscapes in the 1970s and, after a detour into shipbuilding, returned to painting full-time in 1987. He recently appeared on Sky Arts Portrait Artist Of The Year. See more work here.

Liv is an independent producer with an MA in Producing Film & Television. Prior to her MA, Liv produced and directed student theatre. She grew up in the Lakes and enjoys working on projects that showcase its natural beauty. Liv is currently undertaking legal training with an interest in IP Law.

Bruno is a filmmaker from Lewisham. Initially dedicated to music videos, Bruno recently branched into short films. Before graduating, he was 2020 Oxford University Filmmaking Foundation President.
